Our story
Born from cold-water dips and dawn swims, each design captures a place, a feeling, a breath of freedom.
Wild Swim Studio was born in York from a new-found love of wild swimming by a couple; Paul and Kate of Bailey-Cooper Photography. We’re professional photographers who started dipping a couple of years ago, and we’re still learning with every venue we try.
Wild swimming has been many things for us: relaxing, calming, resetting, invigorating, and sometimes challenging. Those moments… lakes at first light, river eddies in autumn, a quiet pond on a still day, the pull of the sea, inspired us to create artwork that keeps that feeling close, even when you’re drying off at home.
What we make
We design wild swimming posters and art prints that celebrate swims in lakes, lochs, rivers, ponds and the sea. Each piece is created in the UK with a photographer’s eye for composition and colour, and a swimmer’s love of the water.
